HOW TO BUILD A MONEY MATTERS MINDSET

FORGIVE YOUR PAST FINANCIAL MISTAKES

You’re not perfect. Maybe you maxed out your credit cards after going on too many shopping sprees or paying too much rent because you fell in love with a gorgeous residence. Any choices you’ve made in the past are now history. Many people learn financial literacy by making mistakes along the way. The two most crucial things to concentrate on are forgiving yourself and taking responsibility for your mistakes.

RECOGNIZE HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT MONEY

How well do you understand your financial thought process? You might discover that your financial situation is causing you more worry than you realized, or you might discover that a purchase you had hoped would bring you joy instead just brought you momentary joy followed by guilt. Assessing how your spending
patterns impact your mental well-being, thoughts, and emotions is wise.

BUILD HEALTHY FINANCIAL HABITS

You should never feel intimidated by financial decisions. Make an effort to schedule time each week to review your finances, budget, and spending patterns. Draw attention to the areas that require improvement and give yourself praise for any advancements. Set aside your worries and approach the issues head-on. Set attainable objectives and acknowledge each successful accomplishment.

CREATE A BUDGET YOU'RE CONFIDENT IN

A budget need not be constrictive and restrictive, as many people believe. As a general guideline, allocate half your monthly earnings towards basics and bills. You should allocate 20% of your income to saving money or paying off debt. You can utilize the remaining 30% however you like. If you discover your budget isn’t sustainable, it may be time to examine your monthly expenses.

MEET SYGA - ENTREPRENEUR, REAL ESTATE INVESTOR, PHILANTHROPIST, AND ALL-AROUND MONEY EXPERT.

For starters,, I’m an L.A. native, I worked as a Diplomat for the U.S. Department of State for nearly a decade, and I speak 8 languages. However, my stand-out achievement was earning my first million dollars by my early 30s. While I’m known for helping people develop and maintain healthy financial habits, I didn’t start that way…

So, how did I get into Financial Literacy?

Years ago as a young father, I invested a lot of time, effort, and money ensuring my family would have the kind of security and freedom we always dreamed of. (Don’t most families?) As a result, “money matters” became a daily topic in our household.

As a business owner, I was used to managing my finances in the office, but I still went through a huge learning curve to figure out the best tricks and strategies for my family’s finances. Once I mastered those, I was able to save over a million dollars by the time I was in my early 30s.

After that, all I could think about was how I could educate others just like me about debt, savings, insurance, budgeting, and all things financial. And so I created this enterprise to empower and educate others on money matters.

My goal is to help you achieve financial freedom through prudent planning, sacrifice, and determination. If I can do it, so can you!

HOW TO BUILD A MONEY MATTERS MINDSET

We’ve worked with other financial advisors in the past, but Syga is the best I’ve worked with in the last five years. Syga Thomas values quality over quantity, which means he doesn’t take on endless clients who become an informal statistic or a $$$ sign. I wholeheartedly endorse him.

Syga

Syga has been instrumental in establishing my personal financial well-being, as well as the financial well-being of my family. Syga Thomas is a Financial Influencer I can rely on to make sound recommendations based on where I am in my savings journey.

Beth

Syga has spent more time with my wife and me developing our strategy than the previous three financial advisors we’ve worked with. He is very responsive and carefully listens to what we want before making any recommendations. He is devoted to his clients.
